nothing special
June 19, 2014
I'm a huge fan of Hair Rules products, but I won't buy this one again. It's nothing special, in my opinion. Even though I just have wavy hair, my hair turns out much better with their Daily Cleansing Cream (DCC) as my "shampoo." I get more frizz with shampoo, and this product is no different. When I need shampoo (e.g. after swimming in the ocean or a pool), I use a old favorite salon-quality moisturizing shampoo. And for a more powerful cleanser than DCC, every six weeks or so, I use DevaCurl No-Poo, which is a non-lathering curly-girl cleanser. I do get some frizz with it, but it's better than lathering shampoo, and really gets my scalp clean. The scent is very mild on this Hair Rules product. The DevaCurl product is halfway between DCC and Wen, in my opinion. Like Wen, it has a lot of menthol in it..
