Black Opal Even True Fade Products Guide
The Even True line of fade/brightening products can be a little
confusing if you're familiar with Black Opal's old product naming
convention or if you are new to Black Opal. Bascially, you will
use a cleanser, a daytime fade cream (creme) and a nighttime fade
gel. The cleanser will prep your face for the fade product.
You have a choice between a hydroquinone based product and a product
that is hydroquinone free.
Hydroquinone is a controversial ingredient. Some people simply choose
to avoid it and some people are sensitive to it. Hydroquinone is
the fastest way to achieve the maximum fading of hyperpigmented
spots. If you want to avoid hydroquinone, stick with the products
in the sensitive skin regimen, the fade products that use the word
"brighten", not "fade".
Whether you choose the hydroquinone free products or the products with
hydroquinone, you will cleanse your face twice a day and apply the
appropriate product in the morning and the evening. There is also
an SPF 15 moisturizer as it is highly recommended to use sunblock while
doing fade treatments.
