The soap is very rich. You only need to use a little at a time. A drop smaller than a pea in your palm mixed with a little water is all it takes. The soap has the same wonderful smell as the Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. If you haven't been using an exfoliant, when you first begin to use this product you may notice some flaking. This is the exfoliant doing its work. After a few days (once the dead skin has been removed), this should stop and your skin will have a new, healthy glow.

I made it a point to use especially after my workouts because of the exfoliating and acne-fighting properties. (My back and shoulders are acne-prone due to the amount of *nasty* sweat generated by my kickboxing workouts--LOL!) Anyway, it was HUGE time saver in that I could use it on both my face and body. I credit it with keeping my clean amazingly clear! Honestly, I was surprised at how GOOD my face looked AND how clear my shoulders and back were. Pros:like that it can be used for both face and body
