Contribute a TestimonialI purchased Sahara Clay with the intent of deep cleansing my locked hair and my children's locks as well. Our locks are mature. Although my locks are clean with no residue, one of my young daughters has residue from locking gels that claimed to rinse clean and didn not. And, from being a kid and getting head and hair into every substance imaginable on planet Earth. I thought the Sahara Clay would help me finally remove this residue from my daughter's hair. It did not. For residue removal, I am again back to the very tedious task of using tweezers and small, stiff toothbrushes.
However, we are all enamored of this clay, and it has become a regular and eagerly anticipated part of our beauty regimen and glamour nights. The first quality of this clay that we noticed is its very smooth, silky coming to life when blended with water. This clay purports to be simply clay from the Sahara desert, but it feels more like magic.
We eagerly applied this clay not only to our faces and hair, but to our entire bodies. We poured it in the bath water, doused ourselves with it in the shower, and generally allowed ourselves to fully enjoy and absorb its wondrous feeling on our skin and hair.
Yes, I DO recommended its use for locked hair. Yes, indeed it does seem to make the locks cleaner and...fresher with no by-products, no residue, no coating, and no worries. It is an excellent, excellent cleanser and conditioner. It is not at all like a shampoo (no lathering), but when it is applied to and rinsed from the hair and skin, you can feel and see a real difference. We also noticed that the clay does not dry the skin as much as conventional body washes, soaps, or shampoos. This clay from the earth feels 100% compatible with the earth, and 100% compatible with our natural beauty.
Finally, at the end of our bath or shower, we enjoy playing with the patterns of earth left behind as this seemingly magical substance leaves our bathtub and makes its way through the aquaducts of the earth. We won't even claim responsibility for any lovely tropical plants or exotic desert specimens that may sprout up 10-20 years from now. For today, we are enjoying our bath in the Sahara!
