Our HumiNature Body Oil with Shea Butter is an unique blend of all natural healing plant oils.  We include the ultimate moisturizer, Shea Butter along with Aloe Vera and Avocado Oils for healing and Grapeseed oil to give the blend a light non-greasy feel and easy absorption into the skin.    We use pure Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil and Cedarwood to provide a very light pleasant aroma that is relaxing without being overpowering.

Shea Butter
Shea Butter nourishes the skin with Vitamins A, E and F.  Vitamins A and E help maintain the skin and keep it clear and healthy. They are particularly helpful for sun damaged skin. They help prevent premature wrinkles and facial lines.  Vitamin F acts as a skin protector and rejuvenator. It soothes rough, dry or chapped skin and helps soften dry or damaged hair.  Shea Butter is high in unsaponifiables (a type of fat).  Shea Butter has between 7-12% unsaponifiables.  For comparison, avocado oil, a well known skin conditioner, has between 2-6%.  This high level of unsaponifiables is one of the properties that makes Shea Butter so invaluable in treating the conditions listed above.   Also, Shea Butter easily penetrates the skin allowing the skin to breathe and not clogging pores.  Shea Butter has a high level of cinnamic acid, a natural sun screen.  So, it provides some degree of protection from the sun.  Shea Butter is also anti-inflammatory making it useful in treating rheumatism. 

Avocado Oil
Avocado oil is one of the most moisturizing natural oils there is.  The oil is extracted from the pulp of the avocado fruit.  Avocado oil contains proteins, amino acids and vitamins,including A, D & E.  These elements in avocado oil making the oil moisturizing, healing, softening to skin and able to heal by encouraging cell regeneration.
 
Aloe Vera Oil
Aloe Vera is most often found in gel form.  But, in its oil form it's highly effective in our all natural body oil.  Aloe Vera helps detoxify skin, promotes cell regeneration, inhibits growth of viruses, microbes and fungi and rehydrates skin.

Lavender Oil & Cedarwood
Lavender oil has been known to help with tension, headaches and sore muscles.  Cedarwood helps relieve itching and is a natural antiseptic helping with acne.
