Your Hair Affair- How to Take Care of Your Curly Hair is a labor of love.  Compiled from years of experience and research, Your Hair Affair is the handbook you need to avoid the common mistakes people make with natural hair care, black hair care, and biracial hair care. Over the decades we have become experts on African American hair care and we want to share that knowledge with you.  Human beings have an amazing variety of hair types.  Knowing your general hair type is helpful. Many of our clients are caucasian mothers of biracial children.  They call us frustrated because they don't know how to deal with "kinky" or "frizzy" hair.  As a result, they sometimes inadvertently cause their children to not cherish their own, unique natural hair. We want to help you and your child accept and love her hair.   Biracial hair care usually requires hair care somewhere in between caucasian hair care and black hair care.  Each child might have a different hair type.
