First time using this product and it is one of my favorite TL products. It's effective in moisturizing the hair, smells good. and a little goes a long way. Next time I'll buy at least two at a time because I shared it with someone else and they can't stay out of it. Very happy with this product.

The ingredients in this product is on point. A little goes a long way. I do not have to add until my next wash day. I wash my hair twice a week. Good for moisturizing. My scalp no longer feels so dry. I wear my hair natural. My coils look so healthy when I use this products. So far I am very impressed with all the products I have purchased.

Not A Daily Use Product!
July 12, 2016
I have short, very thin, fine natural hair. Herbal Hair Balm was too heavy for my hair. I also did not care for smell of product, which is a bit overpowering. Since I used it as a conditioner before washing and coloring, my hair was very soft and moisturized after coloring and washing , which coloring usually makes my hair dry. I will try coloring without using the Herbal Hair Balm next time I color my hair. If my hair is dry without using it before coloring, then I will know the Herbal Balm is a good moisturizer for me before coloring and I will use it as a conditioner before washing and/or coloring my hair. Herbal Hair Balm is probably a good moisturizing conditioner for most hair, just not a good daily moisturizer for fine hair.

All I use

I currently use the terrenstials mud wash and I use this as a leave in.i love how this oil leaves my scalp feeling. It feels like the essential oils are stimulating my scalp. I like how this oil penetrates in my hair and is non Creasy. The white balls don't bother me because it melts in my hands. I love this oil because it shuts down all the other oils I used. Currently I only use castor oil, almond oils and the treasurer loc growth serum But for my hair care regimen I'm only using two oils and that will be this hair balm and the growth serum for the next six months which will put my second review on this product in the month of September. It feels good when I use it to massage my scalp, it makes my hair very soft, and it's perfect with my terresential mud washes. This is not my first time using this balm however, this would be my first time using this blame as a growth aid with the growth serum. I will be buying at least 4 more jars just to make sure I have enough of it for the next six months as they say, "a little goes a long" I always have loved this product and I can't, have not, and will not ever forget it. This is one you always revisit time after time. Trust that. LOVE

I am amazed by this product. I am currently transitioning from relaxed to natural hair and this product has been a savior. I use this every time my roots feel dry and brittle. It softens, tames, and strengthens my hair. I've seen less shedding and have very minimal breakage. I will continue to use this throughout my transitioning journey. The product has a very strong herbal scent but I don't mind it because it is worth the results. I love this product.

This is my nighttime treatment for my hair and scalp. My hair is suffering from Alopecia and it has become hard and dry. This product has a rich feel to it. I rub it between my palms then I rub it onto my hair and scalp. It makes my scalp feel better and the itching I struggle with is relieved.

I just read the answer from another customer about the state of the balm. My question is, because it's comes out like a liquid on your hands, it's not like these creams, because they made my daughter's hair wet and it kinked at the roots. will this be like the creams?

I'm sorry for the confusion. The product is solid at room temperature. It is not normally liquid. Because it's made of ingredients that melt below body temperature, it sometimes can be liquified during transit in the summer months or when shipping to customers who live in warm climates. The question you read was addressing that situation.

I got my Herbal Hair Balm and it's all liquid. Is there something wrong with it?

It's quite common for the herbal hair balm to melt during transit. In the summer, or if you live in a hot environment, it's likely it's been liquid some point along its journey from us to you. But, don't fret. Nothing is wrong and it can easily be re-solidified. The melting point of Shea Butter is somewhere around 90º. The melting point of the coconut oil we use is less than that. That's one of the great things about the Herbal Hair Balm, it is liquid at body temperature. So, it's easy to apply and won't build up in your hair. It goes on as a liquid, after you rub it into your palms. But, it's a solid in the jar, making it easy to work with. If your jar came to you liquid, just store it in a cool place for a while. We pop ours in the fridge just until it sets up. After that, you should be able to store it normally.
