I am trying to find something for my daughters hair that will keep her hair mositurized around the edges. She has a perm in her hair and I was wondering would this be a good product to use on her hair. I was reading that the best product would be to use an all natural product and I see that it has all of the things needed to help her hair. I just want to make sure it can be used on perms.

Answer:This is a great moisturizer for people with natural and permed hair. We think you will find it will work well for her.

What is the difference between the Treasured Locks Shea butter leave in conditioner and the sheamoisture shea butter leave in conditioner? It seems that both have the same amount of rave reviews and stars, both are leave in, same size and everything else except one costs a little more $....My 2nd question is Is it recommended that either of these items be used to condtion after using the Natural Laxer? or is it better to use a conditioner that rinses out? I ask beause the silk protein conditioner that is recommended isnt as cost effective for only 2oz.

Answer:The Treasured Locks Nourishing Shea Butter Leave In Conditioner and the SheaMoisture Shea Butter Leave In are similar products. They are slightly different. The Treasured Locks product is the one we consider to be our premium product and the one we prefer. Either can be used as a follow up after the Natural-Laxer MIX.

Can Treasured Locks Shea Butter Leave In Conditioner be used on dry hair and without shrinkage?
By Treasured Locks Staff on January 17, 2012
Answer:Yes. It's great for use on dry hair as a moisturizer. But, if the hair is pressed or flat ironed straight, it will cause the hair to revert since it contains water.
