I've been using these vitamins for about three to four months. I couldn't understand why I literally had to cut my nails every week seriously. It started to get frustrated then something said look on the bottle of the vitamins and see the dosage and ingredients. At that time I've thrown away the bottles so I went to the website to see and BAM!!! Silica, biotin, and msm I was like wow. And my hair I really different notice a difference until I finally relaxed my hair I would always wear quick weaves at that time I was at least eight weeks post relaxer and normally I would just wash, deep condition, and then put the quick weave right back in so this one time I said okay let me relaxer my hair because I usually don't new growth until I'm about thirteen weeks post and that's a little. So to go from ear length to right at neck length in three to four months I was so shock. I must say that they really do work. I never had this much hair in my adult years.

I am 51 years old and I purchased this product in hopes that it would help my thinning hair. I stopped taking my other vitamins just to try this out by itself. I was uneasy about taking two pills, as suggested, in fear of possible toxicity levels, so I just took one pill for 60 days. I was very surprised to see how quickly it filled in the thin spot on top of my head. I will be monitoring to see if this is permanent and not a temporary solution. I had no unpleasant reactions to this product, just the yellow coloring of the pill in my urine. I am sure there are other similar products on the market, but this one did exactly as promised. What I have found with this product is that my hair is much thicker after the first four months of use. Now I am noticing the length after six months, at least 3 inches. It's been a month and a half since I've been taking the H2G hair Vitamin. I was a little skeptical at first because I have taken biotin and the GNC women's hair formula with no noticeable results. I did the big chop 5 weeks ago, and I literally had about a quarter of an inch of hair on my head. Two weeks into it, I decided to do the kanakelon twist (not sure of spelling), and the stylist literally had to be very creative to manage to do the twists since I had so little hair. Well, I've been taking the pills religiously, and last night out of curiosity, I decided to unbraid one of the twists. OMG, I could not believe it. My hair has grown a full inch longer, and it feels so soft compared to what it was. I know for a fact it must be the vitamins because my hair has never grown so fast before. I'm Hooked.

I just finished my second month supply of the pills and went down to the hairdressers for my monthly professional wash and set (I usually wash my hair every week to save money). And my hairdresser noticed a difference in my hair, it's softer, it stopped breaking as much, and best of all it grew and evened out. All the short hair that had been damaged is now healthy long and swinging! Another plus to this supplement is my acne has cleared up! I love this supplement. It's definitely worth it!

I am on my 3rd bottle of the Hair Growth Supplement and about to finish my 2nd bottle of the Strengthening Supplement. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about these products! How can you? If you follow the instructions correctly they deliver top notch results as promised! I have very fine hair that breaks very easily...and ladies I am natural. No perm up in this head! But I do wear it straight all the times (summer and vacations are an exception). Now let me tell you, I used to love my weaves because it let me take a break from styling my own shoulder length hair but had to let them go because they were eating away at my hair line. The middle of my hair still had an ok thickness to it but all of my edges (around my entire head) was significantly thinner!! Now my hair is longer, thicker, and stronger. I no longer have the desire to get a weave cause my hair is at a point where I am totally satisfied with it. I'm letting it flow baby!! I've been taking this vitamin for about a month now along with some other TL products and since I'm using them all together I cant really tell what's doing the most good for me but I do believe the vitamins have made the shine of my hair and look of my skin way better. As far as length, I didn't really notice much difference, but I'm not sure if I just need to give it more time or if it's because my hair is already a little past my shoulders. What I was really looking for was some growth around my edges from years of wearing braids. If I still dont see a difference after awhile then I'm thinking of trying the H2G Hair Strength supplement instead.

Treasured Locks was recommend by someone that had taken them for a year and her hair is down her back, gorgeous. I have been taking the pills for three months. After the first month, I thought I noticed a difference in the length. My daughter told me it was in my head...but just a week ago, my beautician complimented me on how healthy my hair is...I told her I was doing my part - by taking my vitamins. I have only used this product for one month. I just recently reordered another month's supply. There was an improvement in my skin. Others noticed my clearer skin as well. I have not seen a difference in my nails, but I have always had healthy nails that grow quickly. One month is too short of a time to notice a difference in the length of my hair, but I will continue taking the vitamins and update accordingly.
Like many of the others who reviewed the vitamins, I noticed a change in the color of my urine. I did some searching online and feel it can attributed to the excretion of the B vitamin known as riboflavin.

I just ordered my third bottle and I'm finally starting to see results. My hair has always been slow to grow so after the first month and I didn't really see a difference, I got a little discouraged. But the second month into it, I could tell that my hair was starting to grow, which is why I ordered another bottle. I used to have shoulder length hair but a couple of years ago, I wanted a change and got it cut really short. I loved my short haircut, but a few months ago, I started missing my longer hair and decided to let it grow back. I knew it would take a while to get back to where it used to be, but after reading the reviews on these hair vitamins, I wanted to give it a try to see if I could speed up the growing process. So far I am not really sure one way or the other whether this product helps. I have taken it for two months and have not noticed a big change in my hair. My nails are starting to grow a completely different texture so I am excited for them to grow out all the way so I can see what the new ones will look like. The old nails just peeled and flaked so just about anything will be better. I am on my third month now. I am going to buy another 3 months supply to see if there are any real changes in that time. If nothing else, it is great just as a multi-vitamin.

It has been a month since I started the hair vitamins. Within the first week or so I noticed that my nails were growing faster. I've always had long, hard nails but I was seriously filing them down every other night. About 3 weeks in I realized I had quite a bit of new growth, more so than usual between relaxing. I just went to my beautician (whom I haven't told that I've been taking hair supplements). I was going to see if she noticed any difference in my hair, otherwise I was going to consider stopping the vitamins. She commented that my hair notably longer and thicker, which is great because I've been trying to grow it out from a short hair cut. She told me to keep doing whatever I am doing. I still haven't told her what the "secret" is but I am ready to order more vitamins.

I tried these vitamins while deployed to Iraq. I believe something came via care package from the Sister Soldier project for women of color. After reading the reviews, I decided to try it. My hair has not grown out long it has become stronger and healthier. I ran out during chemo treatment. That wa sthe test. About 2 week of not taking them, my hair immediately began to break off and fall out. Long story Short. In a weeks time, mimimal or no shedding of breaking of my hair.

I feel as if i cant really give a honest review for the fact i only took these vitamins of half a month before i stopped. my hair did grow during this time period but not sure if it was the pills b/c my hair grows pretty fast already. but i can say that the did clear up my skin pretty well before i stopped, the reason that i know it was these vitamins b/c when i stopped taking them i broke out again bad. but since i brought three orders i will resume taking them and update what difference it makes in my hair when i finish the rest of my two bottles b/c i missed place one that's why i stopped taking them.

I have had braids in for awhile and was looking for some extra growth in anticipation of switching to a perm. To be honest, I had never even heard of hair vitamins and was skeptical about the whole thing in the beginning. However, after a few weeks of taking the vitamins (religiously) I noticed a difference in the texture of my hair! My hair is very course and thick and I've been avoiding relaxers for about three years now in an effort to give my hair a chance to grow. The process was a slow one, alright, but after a week of using this product I can actually feel the difference almost overnight! I kept telling my mom "hey is it just me or is my hair getting softer and longer?" I wasn't expecting results this quickly but I'm definitely not complaining here.

In the first few weeks of taking the product I saw a slight improvement but after i finished that first month supply of the vitamins along with the hair strengthener, the process seemed to stop and I didnt see much of a difference in shine, length or healthiness of my hair. My hair still broke off as much as before. the good thing hewever about the product is that it helped with my acne but that wasnt the reason i purchased the pills in the first place. thus being the reason i gave the supplements such a poor review.

I started taking this product about 2 weeks ago and I have noticed my nails are alot stronger and LONGER. My hair breaks less, but it's too soon to tell about the growth. Instead of 2, I only take 1 pill a day. No need to waste as I pill is enough for me. I will definitely order 2 more bottles.

I used these vitamins back when I was in high school and I can't recall if they were the primary reason for my hair being the longest (past bra strap and rexlaxed) but I do remember noticing thickness after the first 3 or so weeks. So I started using my h2g October 22nd, and today is Nov 2nd, so almost 2 weeks. I am very anxious to see results, but I think it's like watching a pot boil (seems to take forever). However, my hair does feel very soft everyday which is great, and my nails are COMPLETELY strong (which is a first). It could be all in my head, but I feel like my hair is on the right path right now... only getting stronger and healthier each day I take the pill. Not to mention I FEEL energized and healthy.

I've been taking this hair vitamin for almost year now. I normally wear my hair cornrowed with a weave in the back. I've had trouble with breakage and massive shedding after the cornrows come out. Although my hair still did break off, it grew back very, very quickly and I'm SURE it's because of this vitamin. The rest of my hair has grown longer and is definitely healthier, I am still shedding, but not nearly as much as before I started taking the vitamin I have to get perms more often because of the rapid hair growth, but that means my hair is growing! It's a fantastic product! I've recommended it to many friends.

I took the Hair growth and Hair Strenghtening vitamins for a few months. When I went back to my hairdresser she said the density and thickness had improved. I was thinning in the top and it had filled in nicely. I did notice some back pain when taking them everyday. When I stopped taking them the back pain went away. I will try taking one a day instead of two. Excellent product!!

I received the H2G vitamins 4 days ago, so of course my hair isn't down to my back yet and all. My natural hair is pretty straight, however my roots are kinky. After air drying my hair I noticed my roots aren't kinky and coarse, but have a slight neat wave!! And my hair is silkier and shinier. I hope my hair texture is softer and my hair length longer. The vitamins do taste really gross, smell terrible, and are hard to swallow, so I grind them up and put them in my food lol. It works though!!! When my hair grows longer I'll write another review, but for now thanks Treasured Locks!!

The vitamins shouldn't be tasted. If they are swallowed whole, you won't taste them. Some of the ingredients are bitter (vitamin B for example). So, the taste can't be altered without adding things that are not beneficial (and would make the tablets even bigger).

I have been using this product for about 2 months now and yes at first I was skeptic that they would be as good as all were claiming in the reviews. I am here to tell you that THEY WORK! I have a decent length and grade of hair and it is thick, however, since taking the hair growth supplement my hair is longer, stronger, and thicker. People constantly assume I have a weave...lol. My nails and skin are also in great condition. I have to admit that I only take one pill a day because for some reason my system can only handle that dosage but the results are awesome. I just received my second order of 3 bottles and I look forward to taking my pill every morning. I started using the TL H2G Supplement in January 2010 because my hair was severely damaged from over processing. I did notice my new growth coming in thicker and faster after I relaxed my hair. The new growth was heatlhier too. But here's the thing, my hair has two personalities. The front and sides are thick and healthy, however the back of my head near the nape of my neck has a entirely different texture. It's coarse, dry, thinner and significantly weaker than the rest of my hair. So, in conjunction with the H2G supplements, I began using a product called Nu-Gro. This product claimed to stop shedding and thinning of hair among other things. I started using this product around May 2010. Unfortunately, I recently noticed that the hair at the nape of my neck has become even thinner and on the left side I have a quarter size patch of hair loss. Of course, I stopped using the NU-Gro products completely. I do not believe H2G supplements played a role in this hair loss but I am praying that continued use of the supplement helps grow my hair back. I am also consulting my doctor to determine if stress or any other deficiencies are a factor in why the back of my hair has shown little progress and most important why I have experienced this drastic hair loss. The bottom line I am very satisfied with the TL H2G supplements and I intend to continue using them.

Great product. I've been taking it for 2-3 weeks, I'm still waiting to see the growth (just trimmed my hair), but my hair is stronger, and not only my hair but my body has been getting the nutrients it needs. Sure the pill may be kinda big and it might smell kinda herbal but the pros outweigh the cons. If you really want to improve the health of your hair you'll take it with no complaints.

I did a lot of research in trying to decide on a hair vitamin to take (and whether I actually should). But I was sold on this product when they gave explanations of all the ingredients, some of which are not found in most other vitamins and are what I believe to be important. I have been taking the vitamins for two weeks now and I don't see that much difference to my hair, skin, or nails even, but I know results take time and hopefully this product will work for me.

I really love this product! I went natural about four years ago after about six years of relaxing my hair and not taking very good care of it. I finally decided to shave it all off and thought it would give my hair a second chance. It did grow a little at first but parts were fragile and Incredibly uneven and I just didn't know what else to do. I finally decided to give this product a try along with the strengthening supplement and I am shocked at how well my hair is doing now. I love love love these hair vitamins. I have been using them for 4 years and will continue to until they are discontinued. My hair grows so fast and it is so beautiful. When I relaxed my hair (I've been natural since Oct. 09) these vitamins would strengthen my hair so that the relaxer wasn't as damaging. My relaxed hair also would grow to a certain length and stop, even though I constantly had new growth. It wasn't until I started ordering these vitamins that my hair "pushed" past is growth threshold. I also noticed that when I'd brush my hair, it would have static, and my mom said this was a sign of healthy hair. Even though you won't notice the results until you finish about one to two bottles it's well worth it. Your hair will be thicker, shinier, and healthier. Since becoming natural, my hair growth has gone off da chain. I chose to transition from relaxed to natural without cutting off all my relaxed hair, and these vits have gotten me through it. My hairstylist had to give me a trim (it seemed more like a cut :)), and when I went to her two weeks later, it had just about grown back. I attribute my wonderful growth to going natural, but mostly I attribute it to these vitamins!

I have been taking this vitamin for a little over a month now and I have noticed some hair growth but it is hard to tell just how much because I have gone the natural route and my hair is very curly! What I have noticed is I have almost no shedding now I used to loose almost a handful of hair every time I washed it, now I loose only a few strands. I also have noticed that my nails look very healthy and grow very fast!

I haven't been taking these vitamins long enough to see a dramatic difference, however I have seen slight difference in my length. I am going to buy another bottle before I commit and purchase three. Regardless of the product, the order experience with TL is efficient and that's a plus when ordering online. My hubby said my hair is growing, so that's enough for me. Oh, the H2G vitamins are great for your nails too. I already have long nails, however I have noticed that they are much stronger and the tips of whiter.

I have very fine hair, usually most hair products don't work on my dirty brown hair, I don't usually have favorable results so when I find something that works for me I stick with it. I have been using this product for two months in addition to the shine supplement and strength supplement. My hair grows at a rate of roughly 0.25 inches per month but with this product my growth has doubled to 0.5 inches per month! I absolutely love these vitamins!! They work great on the hair and skin. I took them with the Strengthening Vitamins and together they are they best team. My nails are always thick and growing. When I started taking the vitamins I had twists in my hair. Normally when I have long styles it always ends in tears due to the amount of breakage. Not this time ^_^. I have been growing my hair out for about a year. I started double processing (color and relaxer) and soon after my hair was SHOT. Bald spots, shedding, breakage, thinning. It was just horrible. Somewhere in the middle of this catastrophe I started using these vitamins. The new growth I felt while I was still relaxing my hair was INCREDIBLE. Only downside is that for a while I had to stop purchasing these vitamins because I couldn't afford them and started using these vitamins that were once on sale at GNC. They were horrible! My hair just went right back to it's original state because I continued to get relaxers. So I recently went back to using these vitamins but this time I bought a 3 month supply to last a while because I am pretty sure I will have enough money in 3 months to buy a 6 month supply! I have only started using the supplements, so I'm not entirely sure if they are working or not. However, I yet to have any complaints about them. Before I purchased the tablets, I read the comments that other customers had put about this product. Most of them said that their major "cons" were the size and smell of the pills. I did not find either of these problems with the pills. While they do not have the best smell, it is hardly noticeable (to me at least). The size of the pills are comparable to a "One a Day" tablet.

I have used this product for about 2 weeks and I already see an increase in new growth. I started the regimine at the same time I got a relaxer. Usually it takes about 3 weeks to begin to see new growth after I get a relaxer. My new growth grows in so tightly that I have to get a relaxer every 5 weeks. I hope I don't have to get a relaxer sooner than that this time. I am impressed. It is too early to tell if the new growth is softer or easier to manager. This is my first time ever writing a review for something, but I must say this product does what it says. I saw a tremendous difference in hair growth after one month of usage. I am on the 6th bottle of this supplement, and I honestly have to support it. For the first 3 months, I believe, I actually was not taking it correctly. I took 2 pills at once each day, instead of dividing them between morning and evening. After I realized my mistake, I corrected myself to follow the instructions.
That being said, I am a very happy camper. A couple of years ago, I'd lost a ton of hair in the back of my head to a poor relaxer job. I could literally place my hand lengthwise over the entire are in the back of my head where the hair was lost with all five fingers. Of course that brought down my self-esteem and I cried often about it. I decided to go natural, but I wasn't taking care of my hair in way that promoted much growth after a while. Of course I got endless extensions to try to cover the hairless patch. But by doing that, I ignored my whole head of hair. It was not good.
I came across these vitamins on this site earlier in 2008. Once I started taking them (and also incorporating virgin coconut oil as my daily moisturizer and using more natural products for my hair care routine), I noticed a big difference. The change in the hair care products I used I think made my hair much incredibly manageable and soft.
But these vitamins. These vitamins have raised my hair from the dead. That hair in the back of my head is growing! And much faster than I was expecting! Where I could put all 5 fingers lengthwise to cover the bald patch, now I can only put 2.5. It's making it's healing way all the way down the back of my head. And I am so, so happy.

About 6 months ago I started losing my hair not from the scalp but breaking & falling off. My hair isn't treated and I don't iron or blow dry. This stuff really works. I ordered a three month supply three months ago, and by the time I finished my third bottle, I noticed my hair had grown out tremendously. Every time I stretch out my hair, weather wet or dry, I'm just amazed at how much it's grown out. I'll be getting another three month supply soon, and I can't wait to see how much longer my hair would be after that.

great product i see a big difference in the strength of my hair more so than the length. There is definitely less breakage and more luster.I would say my hair doubled in thickness

I cannot say enough about any of Treasured Locks Products. The hair growth supplement pills are great!! My hair is thick and strong. It is growing so fast. I dont have to envy my friends that have thick and dark brown hair any more. I am light skinned and my hair was fine and thin. Now it's strong and thick and looks and feels healthy. (Thanks to the Hair Growth Supplement pills & Strenghning Supplement pills)
I use the hair growth pills in combination with the hair strenghthening supplement pills and my hair doesn't come out in the comb and bush like it used too. I'm not afraid to brush or comb it while its wet. I just use the Shea Moisture or H2G Awake Emu oil conditioner before I comb or brush it. Those products are good remedy for detaingling the hair and keeping it soft and managable.

I've just finished my 3rd bottle of Treasured Locks H2G. My mother couldn't believe how beautiful I looked since she seen me 4 months ago.
