A Long time Favorite!
September 27, 2016
I have tried other products, but always return to Locks of Curls Pomade and Gel. I can do so many things with this stuff! Primarily, I use it for my two stranded twists. After shampooing, I use it to make my twists, and then I am good for a week. I spritz my twists daily with distilled water, and then either roll up the ends with perm rods until dry, or simply leave them be. At night I wear a mesh hair net to keep it nice. Once I was in the hospital for a week, and by daily water spritzing and a light touch of the gel, my hair looked and smelled nice all week!

Works Great for my Curly Hair!
April 22, 2016
First, I want to say the first time I applied it, I had washed my hair, forgot to condition my hair and wear my bonnet to sleep. So when I put it on, I could tell my hair was dry. The second time, I corrected all the things I stated before. I conditioned and washed hair, wore my bonnet to bed. and when I woke up I applied the Pomade. It worked great! My hair soft, had moister, and my curls were define. I am so glad I got this product.

The consistency is more watery than I expected and I really am having a hard time with the medicinal smell. I am disappointed.

Manageability & Curl
February 3, 2016
This product definitely adds moisture as well to my curls, however I want my curls more relaxed and this seems to make it a bit curler than I like. It does add shine and manageability and I would recommend it if you are not concerned with your curls staying extended. I have looked for a long time to find products that work with mixed curly hair. I finally found a one stop shop that I can find products that actually work on my hair.

This has been good to my hair

I have benefited from using Treasured Locks Locks of Curls Pomade & Gel. My hair is suffering from Aleopecia my hair had become dry and brittle and was breaking very easily. This has softened my hair and brought back the curl. I am so pleased with all of the products I have bought. Treasured locks had truly been treasure found.

Moisturizes the Scalp
September 3, 2015
This product keeps my scalp moisturized and clean without much maintenance. Definitely a good product to use to maintain moisture in more ethnic hair as our hair tends to be dryer genetically. But it held my locks pretty good for the time. I really enjoyed using this product!

Great Scent
March 31, 2014
It smells really good. Didn't hold my twists so much but it did help my hair define its curl and kept it that way all day. Great for afro shaping and keeping hairs in place, (i.e. afro puffs).

Lots of Curls
December 11, 2013
I bought this for my granddaughter who is mixed in race. Her hair grows very fast and she does not know what to do with it. Her mom leaves it up to her to manage her hair. I felt her hair and it was hard at the tips and wavy at the roots. Treasured Locks Locks of Curls Pomade & Gel made her hair more manageable and locked the wave pattern in her hair. I plan on ordering other products. Thanks.

This product works great for my hair
November 1, 2013
I love this product and it works great for my hair. I buy enough so whenever anyone wants to know what product I use I can offer it to them. The only thing I dislike is bottle it comes in. I would love for it to be in jar so that I can use it to the last drop. Great product and the lemongrass smell is mild.

I've brought this product several times. Sometimes it is thicker than others. And, sometimes it has little white pearls in it. Why is that?
You have discovered one of the characteristics of all natural products. They will vary slightly from batch to batch depending on the nature of the raw ingredients used. They will also vary slightly with temperature. In this particular case, the ingredient that varies is the Shea Butter "oil". Shea Butter is separated into two fractions called the olein and the stearin. We source shea olein which is a liquid to semi-liquid product. The consistency will vary from a relatively thin translucent liquid to a pretty stiff, semi-solid opaque product. Even the thinner, liquid product will change characteristics at different temperatures. We attempt to make each batch as consistent as possible- which actually requires slightly adjusting the formulation depending on the shea olein (shea oil) we've been able to obtain. The product works the same whether it's made with the thicker shea olein or with the one that is more thin. The only difference is in the appearance of the product and a slight variation in appearance.

my hair has been natural for about a year,I just started wearing twists, Will I have to use the shampoo and conditioner as well.if I purchase the pomade gel. My hair is very dry ,lacks moisture. What products do you suggest .
Our products work great synergistically. So, the pomade and gel will help along with our shampoos and conditioners, but it's not necessary to buy them all.

I have often used this product for the natural twists, now I am interested in a straw set. Does Promade & Gel work to achieve results in a straw set. Did not see any indication of it in the reviews. Thank you.
It's ironic that you would ask this when you did. The answer to your question is yes, it will work for straw sets. The last review we got for the product was from a customer who says: "I use this product for my straw set and it comes out perfect every time!..."
